AIRLINE SIMULATOR REVIEW

Hey everyone! Cody here, I wanted to write about a fully complete setup that will allow you to get the most out of Pro Flight Simulator! Its a Logitech Flight System G940 Force Feedback Joystick. This system is neat! It features an authentic feel with force feedback. You can really feel the plane fighting you in a stall, or when your diving and you pull up, the real stress it puts on a plane; you’ll feel every bit of it! It comes with rudder pedals, a joystick, and duel throttle levers. This is something that I could definatley use when I’m playing Pro Flight Simulator, so I just ordered one! This airline simulator has detailed time of day modeling and can track the current computer clock time in order to correctly place the sun, moon, stars, etc. in their current and proper places relative to the earth. The modeling follows everything so down to the tee, it also takes into account the seasonal effects so you have 24-hour days north of the Arctic Circle in the summer. You can also experience the real effects of weather and wind, snow, or even lightening. You have control over this, so why not use real-life data? You can with Pro Flight Simulator. No matter where your at you can get real atmosphere parameters, temperature, dew point, pressure density, wind (three-dimensional) and visibility.

I’ve played a few airplane simulators, and this one tops the crop. So thats why I wanted to tell everyone about this flight sim. I haven’t come across one that is this real, fun, and enjoyable. The only thing that this airline sim can’t truly give you a feel for is if your inverted, feeling a loss of gravity like you would in a real airplane. But no flight sim can simulate loss of gravity unless you want to pay thousands of dollars for one you sit in that spins upside down. Another thing is when I was flying with my brother, he put his 80lb flight bag from the back seat to the front seat without touching it. There’s no way a flight sim could simulate that except a real airplane! And when you pull up, the feeling you get when you try to lift your hands off of your legs. (This is really cool might I add!) Everything gets extremely heavy, and that’s from the G-force. That’s a really cool feeling.

But as far as airplane simulator games this is the best airline simulator game out there hands down. As you can fly helicopters as well as jets, this is a game you can really get hooked on! Hahaha, helicopters are harder then heck to fly for me! All the principles of a helicopter are as real as being in a real one so its kinda tough for me. You might be really good at it! I should take a video of me trying to fly one. That would be comical. It’s a different ball of wax for me. I think it would be really fun to learn how, but I better keep with airplanes first. There’s a lot to learn about flying them alone. I can fly one on the sim, but it’s real sketchy!

There are a few more things I want to tell you about with Pro Flight simulator today, I’ll talk more about it later. After all today’s Christmas! You can fly the 1903 Wright Brothers flyer to the latest Military Fighter Jets. 20,000 plus airports, and you get real worldwide terrain based on US Defense Mapping Agency + LIFETIME FREE UPDATES/UPGRADES! Now you can’t beat that!

This airline simulator is used on television episodes and professional flight schools! I personally like trying to land a plane on a aircraft carrier. NOW THAT’S FUN!!! Landing at night is really fun too, because you can see the headlights of cars on the highway, all based on real life maps! Keep in mind, this airline simulator isn’t so hard you can’t get a plane up in the air. It’s not too bad with the tutorials. And you have the full ATC (Air Traffic Control) functions from the gate to the runway, sky to the land. Sorry for the jargon, I’m a pilot You can request for departure, takeoff, taxi and more. Air-to-Air refueling, I mean this sim goes all out!

I have to attend dinner at my mother’s so I have to go for now, but spread your wings and fly over the tallest mountain, fly over the prettiest blue sea’s, and land right at home.

Everyone that enjoys flying needs to know what the best airline simulator is out there, and I’m going to let you in on a secret! First I’m going to tell you a little bit about myself (you can read more in the about me page). My name is Cody, and I have wanted to be a pilot every since I was 8 years old. I’ve been infatuated with airplanes and flying ever since then. I’m currently studying to be a private pilot, and as of now I know how to fly a Cessna Aircraft 172, 182, and a 210 twin engine. So take it from me, a realistic airline simulator game is of the utmost importance when I can’t be up in a REAL airplane This aviation simulation is no doubt, one of a kind. I love the fact you can use Google Maps to incorporate into the simulation, fly over 120 aircrafts including helicopters and jets, and fly out of just about any airport you wish! Around 20,000 to be exact. I just wanted to take some time to write about this airline simulation game to clear some air about the best one out there! I’m truly impressed! I’ve played a few flight simulations and they’re “ok”, but none like Pro Flight Simulator.
